Our Story
it all started with a swipe
Our story began February, 2014. Chris was keeping busy as an engineer, while also in law school. Taryne was teaching 4th grade and living in South Boston. We both found ourselves single, and in a world of technology and online dating, we turned to the new... and somewhat questionable, Tinder. Yes, we are in fact a Tinder success story. Neither of us ever dreamed of finding our forever love story swiping right, yet here we are. Both forever grateful to the online matchmaker.
Since, we have spent years making memories with each other, family and friends. We have found a mutual love for traveling, good beer and so much more. Our love for travel brought us to Paris, France in June 2019. While atop of the Arch de Triumph, Chris popped the question and Taryne said Oui!
The next chapter in our story will be to say "I do” and continue this life we have built with each other. We are so excited for you all to be part of our journey.

Ceremony & Reception
Unfortunaly, due to Covid-19, we have had to postpone our celebration.
We still plan to get married on July 18th with a small ceremony surrounded by immediate family.
We are looking at dates in early 2021 to rescedule our reception.
Once we have a new plan we will post it here.

Unfortunately we have to change our plans. We tried to wait as long as possible, hoping that we would hear some good news on the reopening plan, but it was not to be.
What now?
We are looking for dates in early 2021 so we can celebrate with everyone. We aren't sure what that will look like yet, but we will let you know when we do.
What do I do with my RSVP?
If you already sent the RSVP in, we will reach out to you with the new plan when we know. If you have not sent it in, hang on to it and you can use it for the new date!
Is there anything we should be doing?
If you made hotel reservations don't for get to cancel them. Stay safe and healthy so you are ready to party on the new date!
